Education Week

Concord School students had a fabulous time celebrating Education Week last week. It was wonderful to see our students and staff celebrating the theme Spotlight on STEM.

Some of our SRC representatives met parents at the gate for our Open Morning at Bundoora last Tuesday and escorted them to classrooms where families were able to participate in a variety of activities relating to STEM.

Education Support Staff Appreciation Day

On Thursday 16th May we celebrated our Education Support Staff and Trainees, acknowledging the work that they do, including Classroom Support, Allied Health, Administration and Maintenance.  We are very fortunate to have a wonderful team of ES staff who are dedicated to ensuring the students are supported to reach their full potential.

To all our Education Support Staff, a sincere thanks from all the staff and students at Concord School.

Concord School Winter Woollies!

Last year the SRC put forward a motion that Concord School should have a beanie as part of our uniform and we very proud to finally see it stocked in our Uniform Shop.  Now that the weather is getting cooler you may wish to purchase a Concord School beanie or scarf.  Spray jackets are also back in stock.  Please contact Melanie Jackson in the Bundoora office to place an order.

Australia’s Biggest Morning

We hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at Bundoora campus this week. This event raises money for the Cancer Council and supports the important work they do.

Some students and staff from the Secondary 11/12 team worked behind the scenes to prepare the food and set up the morning tea in the staff room.
