Term 2
The library continues to be a hub of activity with a range of activities, entertaining displays, and reading sessions for junior classes. Our ceramic club is working quietly away to create an art piece for the whole school to enjoy.
Students have a great space to unwind, relax, study, read and allow their imagination to transport them while listening to relaxing vibes. Increasingly, chess players vie for the giant chess set daily.

Here is a reminder of the guidelines to help you get even more creative with your entries.
- All year levels have an upper limit of 1400 words. There is no minimum word limit.
- Creative writing forms like short stories, including poems, scripts and more are also accepted.
- This year’s theme (Beauty in the unknown) is optional; entrants have the freedom to write about anything that inspires them.

The Dome
World of the Book features more than 300 rare, remarkable, historically significant items in the State Collection, uncovering the unique stories they tell. This year’s themes cover books and ideas; books and imagination; exploring the world; art and nature; and artists and books.
Marvel at a variety of firsts: the world’s first novel, The Tale of Genji by female Japanese author Murasaki Shikibu; a celebration of 550 years since the first printing in English with rare examples of William Caxton’s work; and first editions by internationally renowned authors Toni Morrison and Haruki Murakami.
Fans of Animalia
'Animalia' is an exhibition of original paintings and drawings by Graeme Base featuring works from his iconic book 'Animalia', as well as a selection from 'The Eleventh Hour', 'The Sign of the Seahorse' and 'The Discovery of Dragons'.
This exhibition will run from May 26th - June 16th.
