Library and information resources are now easily accessible via the McCarthy Library Portal on SEQTA.

World Book Online

The McCarthy Library now subscribes to the World Book Web which gives you and your family access to this valuable reference source at your home computers 24 hours a day.

To access the World Book Web, go to the McCarthy Library Portal on SEQTA and select ‘World Book Online.’  Once you arrive at the World Book home page, bookmark the page or add to your favourites for easy access to World Book in the future.

World Book articles, images, timelines, citations, and other research results can be saved to a user’s  ‘My Research’ account by following these instructions.

Audiobooks 

The Library now subscribes to Audiobooks via the ePlatform alongside our existing subscription of eBooks accessible 24/7.  For convenience, you can also download the ePlatform app onto your devices (mobile phones, tablets etc.). Once in the app, you will need to type in ‘Mazenod College’ to bring up and select our subscription and then sign in with your Mazenod credentials to access the Audiobooks and eBooks.

THE ORG Referencing Platform

‘The ORG’ (online referencing generator) is now available for your convenience via the McCarthy Library portal. It will provide you with templates that will enable you to reference all your sources according to the APA 7 style of referencing.
