Celebrating Academic Excellence in Languages: Jeremy Simonetto Shines in Italian Education Awards 2024

We are thrilled to announce a significant achievement by one of our students, Jeremy Simonetto, a dedicated Year 12 student, who has secured third place in the esteemed Italian Education Awards 2024, facilitated by The Gruppo dell'Amicizia in Memoria di Enrica Inglese. Jeremy's exceptional submission not only earned him this honour but also a monetary prize scholarship.

Jeremy's success in the Italian Education Awards is a testament to his outstanding abilities and deep understanding of the Italian language and culture. His thought-provoking essay, written in Italian, tackled the pressing issue of global conflict, particularly focusing on the war in Ukraine and its broader implications for world peace. Jeremy's insightful reflections challenge us to envision a world where peace prevails over conflict.

Jeremy's success not only brings honour to our school but also serves as an inspiration to his peers. We are immensely proud of Jeremy's accomplishments and commend him for his dedication, intellect, and compassionate worldview.

Congratulations, Jeremy, on your outstanding achievement!

Expressions Of Interest

We are appealing for expressions of interest from prospective volunteers to assist our Year 12 students who require a Reader and/or Writer for their HSC examinations.

As the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) stipulates that readers and writers for HSC exams cannot be employed by the school, the supervisors the school currently employs may not perform in this capacity.

If you would like to express your interest in volunteering in this very worthwhile role, please contact me at school.

Your service to our community will make a valuable difference in the lives of our young people.
