Attendance 

Please note that it is a requirement that all student absences are reported to the school and this should be done prior to or on the day of absence.

Notifying the school of your child’s absence helps ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and will fulfil your legal responsibility. Please see the attached sheet from the Department of Education for further information.

When your child is away, please provide an attendance note in one of the following ways:

1.  Compass: log the absence directly on Compass. Please click HERE for more information on how to do this if needed.

2.  Telephone: the school office and let the staff know your child’s name, class and reason for absences. - 53413560

4.    Email: the school and provide the staff with your child’s name, class, date of absences and reason. buninyong.ps@education.vic.gov.au
