What are we cooking?
Welcome back to Term 3 in Food Tech!
We're excited to kick off the term with a range of delicious recipes for our students to create and enjoy.
It was wonderful to hear about all the delicious recipes some students made over the holiday break. It’s great to see students showing such enthusiasm and initiative outside the classroom, and we love hearing about their cooking at home.
We started off this week with Choc Chip and Milo cookies! The students demonstrated fantastic kitchen skills and took great pride in baking their very first cookie in Food Tech. They did a fantastic job at reading and following the recipe. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence growing, both in preparing food and in becoming more efficient with the clean-up process. We’ve also been encouraging students to take responsibility for keeping their workspace clean.
In the coming weeks, students will continue to develop their cooking skills as they prepare pasta pomodoro, chocolate orange brownies, and quesadillas. We have plenty of delicious recipes to look forward to this term, and all recipes will be uploaded to the school website once they’ve been made in Food Tech.
