There has been an increase in the number of students who are drawing on themselves or each other during class lessons. Students have been reminded that this behaviour does not meet the school's expectations regarding the appropriate presentation of self in school uniform. Students engaging in this behaviour will be asked to wash it off and be given a break time detention. Further incidents will see consequences escalated in line with the school behaviour policy.
Congratulations to the Year 7 students who were awarded an Academic Achievement Award for Semester 1 during the whole school assembly this week. These students have demonstrated hard work and dedication to their studies and are to be congratulated for their outstanding start to Secondary school.

Sibling relationships are often a child's first and longest-lasting social bonds, offering companionship, support, and chances to build skills like empathy and conflict resolution. Yet, these dynamics can be complex due to differences in age, temperament, and the need for parental attention—especially during times of stress.
As a parent or caregiver, you play a key role in shaping these relationships. Encouraging each child’s strengths and avoiding comparisons can reduce rivalry and build mutual respect.
By listening with empathy, promoting emotional regulation, and supporting individuality, you help create a home where siblings feel secure and valued. This edition of SchoolTV provides guidance to help foster strong, positive sibling connections that can last a lifetime.
