Date: Sunday 10 August 2024 | 8:00am
Venue: Marist College Ashgrove
Information: On Sunday 10 August 2025, all students from Years 5 to 12 will come together with the College community to complete a 10-kilometer walk through the range of the Enoggera Hill located within the Enoggera Barracks. Students collect sponsorship to walk on the day to raise money for the Marist College Ashgrove Parents and Friends Association. The P&F uses the funds from Walkathon to support the College to enhance facilities and improve the educational journey for all Marist College Ashgrove students now and into the future.
Family members are invited to join in the walking. If you or members of your family would like to join either the full walk (10km) or the All-Abilities Walk (4km), please register here before 9:00am Friday 8 August.
Major Prize Raffle Confirmed – Help Us Reach Our Fundraising Goal!
As part of our Walkathon fundraising efforts, Marist College is running the Major Prize Raffle this year.
If we raise over $45,000, all students who donate will go into the draw to win 2 tickets to the State of Origin. Even better – if we raise over $60,000, the College will contribute an additional 2 tickets, giving students two chances to win!
Every student donation, no matter the amount, counts as an entry into the raffle. Let’s come together as a community to support this initiative and aim high!
Thank you for your continued support.

Many of our parents are keen to help in some way to contribute to the Marist community that we are so well known for. Two ways to do this are through volunteering in the College Tuckshop during the day, or through the Sports Canteens on the weekend.
If you would like to volunteer in the Tuckshop during the day, please click on the relevant link below. Our Tuckshop convenor Josie Loucas will take your details and be only too happy to welcome you into the Tuckshop volunteer family. If you are too nervous to volunteer on your own, there is always the possibility of signing up with a friend. Just let Josie know if you want to be there at the same time as a buddy and I know she will help you out. We have parents who leave at the end of their son’s schooling journey commenting on how much they loved their regular (weekly, fortnightly or even term-by-term) Tuckshop catch-up with friends over the years.

For Sports Canteen volunteers, please keep an eye out on the App for calls to sign up. Remember – if you feel more comfortable with a friend, please rope them in and take them along. The more the merrier.
We wish to inform you of an upcoming change to the pricing of items at our school tuckshop. As part of our commitment to providing nutritious and high-quality food to our students, we’ve worked hard to maintain affordable pricing over the years. However, due to rising costs in food supplies, packaging, and operational expenses, we have found it necessary to make a small increase to some of our menu prices.
These changes will come into effect from 15th July 2025. Please rest assured that we remain focused on delivering healthy and varied options that support the wellbeing of our students.
We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we continue to provide this valuable service to our school community.
