Principal's Message

Reaching a century is a big deal, whether it’s on the cricket field, in age, or marking days at school. And last Friday, our wonderful Prep students reached a very special milestone - 100 days of school! This momentous occasion called for celebration, and that’s exactly what happened in the Prep classrooms led by Ally and Nell.
The theme for the day was "100 Days Brighter", a beautiful and symbolic way of acknowledging the growth, learning, and joy that have unfolded over the past 100 days. The word brighter captures the spirit of our Preps perfectly; they are now brighter readers, brighter writers, brighter mathematicians and definitely brighter in confidence, independence, and personality.
The students participated in a range of fun and creative activities all themed around the number 100. There were necklaces made from 100 beads, towers built from 100 blocks and much more. Laughter filled the room as our tiniest learners dressed up in colourful and bright clothes to celebrate being 100 years brighter.
In the words of one Prep student, “This is the best day of my life!” A big claim, but we think they might be right. These types of celebrations aren’t just about fun, they’re a real marker of how far our students have come in such a short time. Only 100 school days ago, they stepped through our gates as kinder kids, wide-eyed and new to the world of school. Since then, they’ve embraced routines, made friends, learned to read and write, tackled early math concepts, and grown in resilience, independence and joy.
Now, they are 100 days closer to Grade 1 and what a transformation we’ve seen! It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown. The early years of schooling are such an important time for building strong foundations and it is clear that our Preps are flourishing thanks to the care and skill of their dedicated teachers.
We want to extend a huge congratulations to our Prep students and to Ally and Nell for the way they’ve embraced learning, created a warm and nurturing classroom environment and built such a strong sense of community. If this is what they’ve achieved in just 100 days, we can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring. Imagine what they’ll have accomplished by the time they reach 1,000 days of learning!
In other exciting news, we’ve now completed interviews and enrolments for our 2026 Prep intake, and we are thrilled to be welcoming 50 new Prep students to our community in 2026. It has been a joy to meet with these young learners and their families and we look forward to the journey ahead as we prepare to guide them through their own first 100 days and far beyond.
These moments are a reminder of the vibrancy and life in our school and the privilege we have in walking alongside each learner from the very beginning.
