Year 5 have been inspired by the powerful work of Solli Raphael to create their own slam poems. We are proud of their efforts and excited to share some of their amazing performances with you. Click the links below!
Students had a wonderful time learning all about electricity. As part of our unit, they used wires, batteries, and bulbs to build simple circuits and see how electricity works.

Students explored bird artworks using reference pictures and acrylic paints. They learned to observe details and use bright colours to bring their birds to life on paper. They were also inspired by artist Dana Kinter and used her unique techniques to create beautiful artworks on wooden boards. The students enjoyed experimenting with new materials and styles, showing great creativity and skill in their finished pieces.

Students took part in two exciting sports days. They were able to choose their preferred sport and then competed in competitive matches with their peers. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to stay active, show good sportsmanship, and have lots of fun!

For our "100 Days Brighter" celebration, students enjoyed a creative challenge—putting together a puzzle made from 100 pieces of their own face! This fun activity helped mark their achievement of reaching 100 days of school, and everyone enjoyed seeing their faces come together, piece by piece.
