Our Stage 2 students celebrated being at school for 100 days and are now “100 days brighter”! To mark this special milestone, students participated in a range of fun and engaging activities all themed around the number one hundred. It was wonderful to see everyone embracing the spirit of the day and recognising just how much they have grown and learned in 100 days together.

Students have participated in two exciting sport days, where they focused on developing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through engaging games of Oz Tag and netball. These activities provided wonderful opportunities for students to build their confidence, work collaboratively with their peers, and enjoy physical activity in a supportive and fun environment. We are proud of their enthusiasm and the positive spirit they demonstrated throughout the events.

As part of Green Valley Public School's NAIDOC commemoration, Stage 2 students enjoyed an assembly featuring performances by an Aboriginal Dance Group and Didgeridoo group from Ashcroft High School. Following the assembly, students engaged in classroom activities to further explore and celebrate Indigenous culture. One of the highlights was creating foil art, a challenging but rewarding activity that encouraged creativity and persistence.
