Billeting

We are grateful to those families who have generously offered to take Cowra High School students as billets for the exchange. If you are still able to take a billet please contact the school for further information. Billeting is a great way for students from both schools to develop lifelong friendships as many current and previous Camden students maintain these relationships for years to come. 

The billeting process ensures the exchange is able to continue for future years. 

All billeting information will be passed on to host families once finalised. You will be informed of your billet and any medical concerns or food allergies prior to their arrival on Wednesday 27th May. 

Wednesday 28th May

• Billets to travel home with luggage and sporting equipment. It is encouraged if you could please pick up your billet if possible. However, Camden students and their Cowra billets are able to catch the school bus home if you are unable to pick them up.  All bus companies have been informed of additional students for these specific dates.
• Hosts to provide dinner for Cowra billet.
• Rugby League - The Oaks > Cowra High students must attend the rugby league matchesas a check in with their school staff, even if they are not participating in the games. Matches are scheduled from 4.45pm to 7.45pm, if you are billeting a Rugby League or Ladies League Tag player please ensure they arrive around 4.15pm.  

Thursday 29th May

• Hosts to provide breakfast, lunch, dinner for Cowra billet. 
• Students and billets to arrive at school for normal school time (8:40am).  
• Students and billets to participate in day activities during school hours.  
• Students and billets to travel home at 3pm.   
• SOCIAL – 5:30-8:00pm at the Camden High School HALL. Cowra students and Camden students with billets will have free entry and names will be marked off at the door upon entry. Student will not be allowed to enter or exit early unless they are accompanied by a parent. Please drop off and pick up students from front bus bay.   

Friday 29th May 

• Hosts to provide breakfast for Cowra billet (lunch provided for Cowra students only at school)  
• Students and billets (to bring all luggage) to arrive at school as normal for 8:40am.   
• Cowra billets to place their bags in the senior study in the library.  
• Cowra billets to depart at approximately 2pm.
