Middle School

In the Earth and Space Science investigation this term, students in year 3 and 4 explored the Earth's rotation on its axis and how this causes day and night. They observed how the Sun's position in the sky changes throughout the day and how this affects the creation of shadows.

At Scienceworks, students had the opportunity to visit the Planetarium  to see how the earth looks from space and connect the movement of the earth to the seasons and the night and day cycle. 

They also had a wondeful time discovering the other exhibits!
