Principal's Report

A reminder to all families that tomorrow, Friday 29th of November, is a pupil free day, while teachers undertake report writing. OSHC will be running for families who require childcare, and bookings can be made via the link on the OSHC page, or by contacting OSHC directly.

Many thanks to Steph, Bron, Chris, Callum, Kai and Krista for their organisation and delivery of swimming lessons over the last week. Despite the varied conditions and frequent downpours of rain, students have been excited to participate in their swimming lessons. Weather permitting swimming lessons will continue again next week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

This morning, our choir attended Lakeview Kindergarten to perform a selection of songs they have been rehearsing during lunchtime Choir sessions. They will also be performing in two weeks time, on Thursday 12th December, at Kiewa Valley House, and are joining the Spookie Ukies at the annual 'Carols by Candlelight'. Many thanks to Emily for providing our students with the opportunity to sing as a choir and to share this with the wider community.

The end of year is a great time for celebrating student achievement and next Thursday, 5th December, families are invited to join us in the multi-purpose room from 2-3pm, for a special whole-school music performance.  We hope you can join us for this special display of our student's musical achievement over the year.

Wanted: Donations of new and used Rubik's Cubes to help support our Rubik's Cube Club.  

Join the Club! Students are invited to join Jeremy at the new time of Wednesday lunchtimes,   in the undercover area. Students are also welcome to bring their own Rubik's Cube along to the club, as long as they have parent permission to do so.  

School Savings Bonus

In Term 4, 2024, families with a child enrolled in a government school from Prep to Year 12 in 2025 will receive the one-off $400 School Saving Bonus.

Please check your email (and junk mail) for your unique code to access the SSB Portal for each of your children. This will be sent to you by Friday 29th November. If not received, please contact the following email address school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au direct.
