SUSTAINABILITY NEWS
Our Year 3/4 students have been lucky to work with Waterwatch and they have invited all Trinity families to this event TONIGHT!
When: Thursday 21st November, 7pm - 9pm
Join MCMC WaterWatch and Special Engagement staff for a fun night of frog discovery! There will be activities, live local animals to meet and a walk amongst the plants and animals of these beautiful wetlands.
Learn to recognise different frog calls and help collect important data for the spring frog census, including using the Melbourne Water Frog Census App! We will be listening out for the elusive Peron’s Tree frogs (pictured) at the wetlands. Families are most welcome.

Bookings are essential here.
The event involves walking, at times in the rain, so please bring weather appropriate clothing for the event and sturdy walking shoes. (Frogs love rain so don’t be put off by a rainy evening, this event will still go ahead).
Please bring drinking water, hat, mobile phone, sturdy walking shoes, long sleeves and long pants, wet weather gear (if needed) - and gumboots are handy if raining, binoculars and torch if you have them (not compulsory). But please don’t come if you are unwell.
Location: Alphington Wetlands (near View Street, Alphington). Google maps pin.

I hope to see some of you there!
