This term in 3/4 , we have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. We have been enjoying the story line and the characters in our class. We took a deep dive in character profiles and created posters.

Here are some of the opinions on the book so far.

Angela: In my opinion I think Charlie and the Chocolate factory is a very interesting book because you can never guess what is going to happen next. My favourite character is Veruca Salt because she always gets what she wants.  

Tim: In my opinion I think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a very creative book. There are lots of interesting things that happen. I loved when Charlie got the Golden Ticket and my favourite character is probably Charlie because he is the main character.

Humphrey: I am having fun reading this book. Willy Wonka is my favourite character because he is funny. My favourite chapter was definitely the chocolate room because I could really visualise it. 

Abuk: This is a really good book because all the characters are so creative and there's so much interesting vocabulary in the chapters. My favourite chapter so far is probably Chapter 15, the one where the children enter the chocolate room because everything is edible. My favourite character is Charlie because his character design is great and we feel so happy for him because he got the Golden Ticket.
