The second half of Term 4 is a crucial period for all students as they prepare for the transition to the next academic year. This time allows students to consolidate their learning, reflect on their achievements, and build the skills and resilience needed to face new challenges in 2025. It is an opportunity for them to strengthen their understanding, develop confidence, and set goals that will support their growth and success in the year ahead. Every single day of learning is vitally important and I strongly encourage our students to make the most of the next four weeks to ensure a smooth and confident step forward into their next chapter.
I am pleased to share an important update for the upcoming 2025 school year. After careful consideration and feedback from our community and staff, our school will be transitioning from stage-based (composite) to grade-based classes in 2025.
This means that in 2025 we will have Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
While we aim to organise all classes as grade-based, there may be occasions where composite classes are required due to enrolment numbers; however, this will not be our preferred approach unless absolutely necessary. We look forward to implementing this change and are committed to supporting our students, families, and staff throughout the transition. Thank you for your honest feedback and ongoing partnership as we strive to create the best possible learning experience for every child.
As we near the end of the year, I would like to extend my thanks to the outgoing members of our school P&C for their dedication, hard work, and invaluable contributions throughout the year. Your commitment has made a significant difference to our school community, and we truly appreciate the time and effort you have invested. I would also like to warmly invite all parents and carers to attend the upcoming P&C Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the important work the P&C does, reflect on the past year, and consider how you might get involved in supporting our school in 2025. I look forward to seeing many of you there!

We offer our support and encourage you to complete your application to enrol online. If, however you do not feel comfortable completing an application online, a paper copy will be available for collection from the front office or you can download from the Department's website.
