P&F Forum

A big thank you to everyone who attended our Term 4 forum on Wednesday night, including our AGM. We discussed the great year we have had at Holy Family in 2024 and tabled some additions to grow our initiatives in 2025 as well as some new initiatives. We will share details about the proposed Social Justice Program of establishing a sister school with the Giingana Gumbaynggirr Freedom School once discussions between the schools have reached a point where this is viable. We will also share details of the proposed Therapy Dog and Strings Programs for further input and feedback from our parents before the end of the term.

At our AGM the following roles were filled by nomination and approval:

President - Olwyn Connolly (final term)

Secretary - Bridgid Faure (first term)

Treasurer - UNAPPOINTED

Co-Treasurer - Damian Ryan (second term)

CSP Rep - Shane Norton (second term)

Class Parent Coordinators - Anna Roberts, Pip Ling, Stephen Xu

Green Team Coordinator - Seiichi Mitsui

Uniform Swap Shop Coordinator - Carolyn Packwood

Yearbook Coordinator - Olivia Herlambang-Tham

Our Treasurer role remains unfilled for 2025. This is a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our school community.   We would encourage any parent who might be interested in stepping up to help with this role to reach out to us.   A finance background is preferred but not essential.  The role helps to oversee the basic bookkeeping of our event, manage bank transactions and ensure our accounts are maintained and ready for audit each year.

The time commitment is approx. 3-4 hours a term, not including attendance at meetings

There is an increase in time involved to help facilitate the financial management of the Lindfield Art Show and Fair - approx. 12 hours

The role can be share by two people if that helps.
