Transitioning to 2025

At this time of year, much time is spent arranging classes for 2025. Teachers take this very seriously so they can create balanced classes which enable all students to work together well and thrive. This begins with students thinking about ‘good learning partners’. These are students in their year level who they feel they can work alongside in a positive way. This may not be their best friend as there are still many opportunities for them to spend time together. We are fortunate at Good News that our students are familiar with most of the teachers who they often see out in the yard. Despite this change can be difficult for some children and they may require additional support from both their teachers and parents. Parents are encouraged to talk positively about their class and teacher for 2025 so that they can feel comfortable and prepared for this transition when they return to school next year.
