Behaviour Bash

11.30am-3.00pm: Junee Recreation & Aquatic Centre

 

Our students are being rewarded for a fabulous year. We are hosting a fun day at the Junee Recreation and Aquatic Centre to celebrate positive behaviour and successes. Can you please ensure you have given permission via Compass. $2 entry fee is payable to class teacher on the day. If students have a pool season ticket they need to show or quote their number.

Puppet Show

1.30pm - 3.00pm: Athenium

 

An interactive Puppet Show which promises to be a captivating end-of-year performance for our students showing at the Athenium.This event has been kindly subsidised by the Junee Shire Council.

 

Students from Kinder to Year 6 will travel by bus to and from the Athenium for the show. The cost for participation is $7 per student, payable through Compass. No cash or BPay payments please. Can you please ensure permission and payment is received asap.

Stage 3 Performing Christmas Carols

11.15am: Junee Exservices Memorial Club

 

Our year 5/6 students have been invited to sing some Christmas Carols at the Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon. 

 

Students will have an early recess on the day and depart school at approximately 10:45am, in time for singing at 11:15am. After singing they will enjoy a chat with the Senior Citizens and then walk back to school in time for lunch. They will be required to bring a drink bottle and school hat for the walk. Please ensure you have given your child/ren permission to attend Compass.

Whole School Giving Mass

In the lead up to this date, it would be wonderful if we could make a difference to people's lives by donating items for Vinnies to make Christmas hampers for a few of the 3.3 million people across Australia who live in poverty. Importantly, the items our school donates support families in need in our community.

 

This year St Vinnies Junee requires assistance to create food hampers for the many people in our area. 

 

Below is a list of items St Vinnies have suggested as ideal for donating:

Stage 3 Performing Christmas Carols

Cooinda Court

 

After the whole school Giving Mass, Stage 3 will walk to Cooinda Court to sing carols with the residents. Students need to pack a splash of Christmas eg. Santa hat, reindeer antlers. 

 

Students will need to bring their water bottles and morning tea. We will stop in the park for morning tea and a break and then walk up the hill to Cooinda Court. Students will sing to the residence before they have their lunches. We will then walk back to school and return before lunch. In the case of rain students will be transported by private car.

Join us for Christmas with the Con on Saturday December 14, as we celebrate the festive season with one of the biggest Christmas performances in the Riverina.

 

 A wonderful music program that will be entertaining for everyone.
