Parent Payment Arrangements for 2025
Yesterday a notification was sent via Compass to all families regarding the Parent Payment Arrangements for 2025. These contributions are crucial and enable us to purchase resources and equipment for our high-quality and highly regarded learning environment including our specialist programs. Here are just a few examples of how some of the money we receive through our parent payments is utilized:
- to purchase musical instruments for Performing Arts,
- to purchase robotics for our STEM program,
- to refurbish learning spaces with new carpet, painting and furniture,
- to purchase classroom ICT resources (interactive touch screen TVs).
We value your support; it allows us to provide the highest quality education to our students and to create a more enriching experience for our entire school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support.
Congratulations to Tahki
Last Wednesday Tahki, from Year 4, represented Gardenvale in the State Athletics Championships in the Triple Jump. It was wonderful news to hear that Tahki made it onto the podium at State Level. Tahki finished 3rd in his event with a personal best performance jumping 9.08 metres!! We are very proud of you Tahki, what a great achievement!
Gardenvale Staff ‘Thank you’ Morning Tea
The staff would sincerely like to thank the PFA, especially Robyn Krawitz and Lisa Schaffer, for organising such a beautiful morning tea on Gardenvale Staff Day, 4th November. The staff truly appreciated the effort and kindness of the PFA to spoil them on their special day!
At Gardenvale we celebrated this day in recognition of the work done by all our staff. Without the dedication and hard work of all members of ‘Team Gardenvale’ our school would not be the exceptional place that it is!
Class Placements
Thank you for your responses for your child’s class placement in 2025.
When allocating classes the following information is considered:
- Teacher judgement based on knowledge of students
- Student friendship requests
- Parent requests based on social/wellbeing concerns.
Please note not all friendship requests from parents will be able to be accommodated.
