Yr9 Holocaust Inquiry Project displays
Year 9 Holocaust Community Open Evening
On the evening of Thursday, December 5th, the college hosted the Year 9 "Light in the Darkness" Exhibition Community Open Evening. This event was a celebration of the dedication and hard work that the Year 9 cohort invested in their inquiry projects across English and Humanities.
It provided an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in a reflective and peaceful environment while exploring the stories of 55 Holocaust survivors.
We were delighted to see so many families and community members come together to learn about these survivors and their powerful narratives.
It was especially heart warming to hear our Year 9 students speak with such pride as they shared the stories of the survivors with their families and the wider community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and to our Year 9 students for their exceptional contributions. You should all be incredibly proud of the exhibition space you’ve created.
