Sculptural Ceramics

Year 9 Sculptural Ceramics

The Year 9 Sculptural Ceramics class used a range of hand-building ceramic techniques to make animals, abstract coil pots and sculptures inspired by the work of other artists. 

Through research of artists practices, and a studio process of trials and experimentation, the students were able to execute a wide range of creative designs over the semester. 

It has been a pleasure to see the students express their creativity through ceramics!
