Minister of Education visited our Ulverstone Campus
The Minister of Education, Jo Palmer, recently visited our Ulverstone Campus to engage with students, staff and the school community. During her tour, Minister Palmer had the opportunity to observe firsthand the school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and nurturing a supportive learning environment. She chatted with teachers and administrators to discuss the school’s innovative approaches to education. The visit highlighted the importance of partnerships within our community to ensure every student has access to quality education, regardless of background or circumstance. Minister Palmer's tour was a valuable opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of educators and to reaffirm the government's support for educational institutions like Leighland Christian School that play a vital role in shaping the future of young Australians.
Remembrance Day
Our LCS students, Mikaela and Simeon, had the privilege of attending the Remembrance Day service in Ulverstone, where they paused to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served. With respect and reflection, we came together as a community to remember the fallen and express our gratitude for their courage. It was a moving and meaningful moment, and we are proud of our students for their participation and respect shown.
Lest we forget.
Senior Art Exhibition
The Senior Art Exhibition, which occurred recently, was a stunning showcase of creativity and talent from the 11/12 class. Featuring a diverse range of mediums, from painting and sculpture to photography, the exhibit offered a unique window into the artistic visions of the students. Each piece reflected the hard work, passion and personal exploration.
