Production Term Has Arrived!

The spotlight is officially on as Battle of the Beats swings into production mode! Our talented Year 5 and 6 cast members have spent the past term hard at work learning lines and rehearsing scenes, while our backstage crew are getting ready to step behind the scenes and learn all of their important cues.

Today saw the start of dance rehearsals, and the hall was absolutely buzzing as students across the school began learning the moves for their year level dance. The excitement is building, and we can't wait to see each performance come to life over the coming weeks!

A reminder that cast and crew headshots will be taken next Wednesday. Cast members are asked to bring a plain white t-shirt (no logos, please) to change into for their photo, while backstage crew members should bring a plain black t-shirt.

A huge thank you to the wonderful families who have already offered to help with costumes. Your support means so much to us and helps make the magic happen!

We are still searching for some volunteers with a van who may be able to help transport our sets and props to the Darebin Arts Centre on the morning of 9th September and return them after the performance on 10th September.
