Head Lice Checks

At the beginning of every term, we complete head lice checks to ensure the control of head lice in the boarding houses.

On Wednesday 18 October after school, all boarders will be checked for head lice in the Health Centre by our nurses and a local hairdresser. Should your boarder have head lice, they will be treated by the nursing staff and hairdresser. The produce we use is Nitalie Delous, a natural product which has proven to be safe and effective. The cost for these checks will be covered by the School.  

It is a requirement that all students are checked and treated to help reduce the incidence of head lice in the boarding environment. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this process, please contact Liz or Rebecca in the Health Centre on 9844 0319.
