TERM 4 INQUIRY

This term students have been exploring the Media Arts curriculum. Excursions begin next week with our preps off to the cinemas on Wednesday. 

The focus for each level are as follows:

Prep

We are learning that stories involve characters, settings and storylines.

We are learning that we can use media technologies to communicate ideas.

We are learning that we can provide our opinion when responding to media art works.  

We are learning that there are good and bad choices

Year 1 & 2

We are learning that characters and settings contribute to a story.

We are learning that stories communicate different ideas to an audience.

We are learning that we can use a range of media artwork to tell and respond to stories.

Year 3 & 4

We are learning that media art has a structure to present a point of view.

We are learning that we can respond and create media art.

Year 5 & 6

We are learning that media arts are a way of conveying meaning and viewpoints of different groups and people (socially, culturally, historically).

We are learning that media art pieces are planned, produced and presented for a specific audience using responsible media practice and convey a range of perspectives.
