Dear Parents and Caregivers
Welcome back to Term 4 at St Helena's. The Year 3 to Year 6 have taken to swimming lessons like fish to water these last 2 weeks. Well done to everyone! Thank you Mrs Hesse for coordinating the lessons and to the parents/caregivers and staff in ensuring the students are organised for the lessons each day.
Term 4 is always a busy term. Please keep up with what is happening by taking the time to read through the eNewsletter, and keeping up with our school calendar that is live on our website under the Parent Hub section. We have some incursions and excursions coming up for various classes, complimenting the educational program we have in place at St Helena's. Our students are very lucky that they have so much on offer through our staff's commitment and planning.
World Teachers' Day is celebrated in Australia on 27 October 2023. It is a chance to recognise and celebrate the teachers who are making or have made, an impact in our lives. Education truly is our most powerful tool, and that's why it's so important to celebrate World Teachers' Day. Teachers facilitate learning, spread knowledge and push students to be curious and excel - they deserve to be acknowledged, thanked and appreciated for all they do. At St Helena's we are very appreciative of the teachers, and all the staff that contribute to the growth and development of all our students. Hats off to you all! Thank you to our wonderful P&F who are organising a lovely lunch for us all. Very much appreciated!
HATS OFF TO TEACHERS THIS WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY!
Let’s celebrate Australia’s teachers for their skilled work in educating,
inspiring and supporting our students.
All the best to our Interschool Athletics Team next week as they go off and compete in the A Division Athletics Competition at WA Athletics Stadium.
We keep all those in the Middle East in our prayers during these uncertain times.
We pray for peace all over the world at this time and always.
Peace & Happy Days!
