Athletics

Wednesday 6th September was the Banyule Division Athletic Carnival, Ivanhoe Primary School had 19 students represent the school in different events.

It was a great day for the school, with every student competing hard and all showing the schools values. Congratulations to Ugo, Oisin, Maddie, Ben, Marcus, Violet, Ivy, Max, Leo, William, Fred, Alexandra, Tara, Femi, Rhys, Ashley, Thomas, Daniel, and Sean for competing well.

From the 19 students, we had 8 students finish in the top two of their events which means they are through into the next round of competition. This will be the Northern Metropolitan Regional Athletics Championship at Meadowglen Stadium on October Wednesday October 11th.

Huge congratulations to Max, Fred, Femi, Oisin, Ugo, Maddie, Ivy, and Leo for making it through to regionals, and good luck for the event.
