5 day school weeks to continue.
Last week the Department introduced a Making changes to school hours procedure to provide framework for schools to follow regarding any proposed changes to school hours. Unfortunately, some of the media reporting and commentary on this has included a mistaken suggestion that the procedure will lead to a 4-day school week. This is not the case. It is simply for schools who wish to make changes to start and finish times, which is a process that Moonie SS has already been through recently. Queensland State Schools will continue to be operational five days per week.
Have a fantastic week. Only four to go!
Warm Regards,
Belinda Elliott.
Principal.
