Dear Parents and Friends,
It has been an incredibly busy year and every week has been full of learning and special events. Many occasions have required your support and so many of you have been incredibly generous. To everyone who has been involved in providing that support to our school, we cannot thank you enough. I would like to take this opportunity to also thank and congratulate all the staff at St Christopher’s for their dedication, support and the amazing work they’ve done throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our wonderful students who have been a pleasure to teach and have at our school. Finally, to all our families who will be moving on from St Christopher’s, we thank you for your contribution and involvement in St Christopher’s and wish you well for the future. I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are able to find some time to relax with family and friends.
I would like to congratulate our Year Six children who completed their graduation on Tuesday evening. It was a very moving and emotional night and all of the students shared some of their memories and experiences of their life at St. Christopher’s. We are very proud of their achievements and thank them for the joy they have given our school. I wish them every happiness and success as they move on to secondary school and I have every confidence that they will achieve many great things in the future. On Wednesday these students went to Luna Park as a special way to celebrate the end of Year 6. Photos of this are on the next page.
Last Monday our Prep students took part in the Nativity Play. It was wonderul to have so many parents and friends attend to see this important Christmas event.
On Monday each class performed a Christmas carol for the whole school. It was obvious that they were well prepared and that they were enjoyed by those in attendance.
It was great to see many families attend the Christmas Party tonight. Thanks to our Parents' Association for organising this including the BBQ, magician and of course a special visit from Santa. Thanks to Tracey and Miss Banks for again baking lots of treats to raise money for the school.
If you have any concerns regarding your child's learning or wellbeing, please contact their classroom teacher or myself.
Regards
