Regional Athletics
Congratulations to Taylah and Polly for their hard work and success at the Southern Metropolitan Region Athletics Competition.
Polly finished first in the 9-10 year girls hurdles.
Polly also finished second in the 9-10 year girls 200m.
Taylah finished second in the 11 year girls 100m.
Both of our runners will be competing at the State Championships on 1st November at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park.

Kingston Division Tennis Competition
At the Kingston Division Tennis Competition our Hotshots Tennis Open Team had a great day out in the modified tennis program of Hotshot Tennis. Valkstone Primary School came to play with superior skill and took the day easily. They go on to the Region competition. All our players had to find their confidence for the remaining rounds, and in some close battles in both singles and doubles matches it took a countback of individual scores to separate us in second place from St Bridgid’s Primary. Will the 2024 teams be all year 5 students, or a mix of year 5 and 6, only time will tell! Year 4 and 5 students are training now for the 7 summer interschool sports on offer for next year. Well done today Beaumaris!
