This week in maths we are learning to design, plan to build & construct a game involving chance.

VOCABULARY

Chance - The possibility of an event occurring.

Likelihood - The probability of an event occurring.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to create a chance game.

They can model it off another chance game and put their own spin to it. For example; Snakes and Ladders with a spinner. 

Have your child explain to you the probability and have them record it in fractions and decimals.
