CURRICULUM FOCUS

This week in writing we are continuing to learn how to write a persuasive text that considers the audience and purpose.


VOCABULARY

Persuade - To make someone do or believe something by giving them a good reason to do it or by talking to that person and making them believe it.

Purpose: The reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc. an intended or desired result; end; aim; goal.

 

Audience: Who the author writes their text for.
