LIVE ENTERTAINMENT!

  • We have made some minor changes to the entertainment schedule to ensure that as many of our students can perform at the fete as possible!
  • (There is a rally to save public housing at 2pm in Collingwood on Saturday which some of our families are attending and are involved in. If anyone would like to leave their kids at the fete while they attend the rally, please just let Mary know at the office).
  • All FPS student performances with Bree and Cultural Infusion will now be from 12:35pm to 1:40pm so please ensure all students are at the fete by no later than 12:00pm and near the stage by no later than 12:15am so we can make sure they are ready to jump on stage to perform!  (FPS kids are not required to wear their uniforms and can wear what they like!)
  • (For those of you whose kids have pre-booked facepainting during the times that they perform, do not worry!  We will change their times so that they can do it after their performances.)
  • We cannot wait to see the debut performance of the Paper Jellyfish, a band featuring FPS’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader, Alex Hingston and Performing Arts Teacher Bree McKernan and Gautier’s dad, James Slattery!
  • We are also lucky to have professional musician and parent Timothy Willis and choir  group Beyond the Bathroom perform for us!
  • Get ready to dance with 8 piece Congolese Ruba/Soukous band, The Seben Brothers,  Check out this little clip of them playing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tC5I6UPxkc

A big thanks to The Bandwagon, Yarra City Council and Cultural Infusion for all their support to make the live entertainment happen!
