Year 5 Report

Congratulations to the entire Grade 5 cohort on an exceptional year! May you all enjoy a fantastic and well-deserved break. We applaud the achievements of our Grade 5 students and take great pride in the learning milestones they have reached.

The Art Show

The Art Show showcased the brilliance and talent of our students. It was a truly remarkable evening, credited to the dedication and hard work of both the students and their Art teachers.

Maths

Fractions and Decimals

During this term in Mathematics, students explored the realms of fractions and decimals. They gained insight into how these concepts are interconnected with real-world scenarios.

Graphing and Data

We also explored the exciting realm of graphing and data. Students learnt how to represent and interpret data graphically, a crucial skill in today's data-driven world.

Literacy

Science Fiction/Fantasy Narratives

During this term in our Literacy program, students developed the expertise to craft science fiction and fantasy narratives. They also showcased their creations using Canva, an excellent digital resource platform.

Speeches

Students presented their leadership speeches before their peers and the school leadership staff. Well done to all participants, and congratulations to the 2024 school leaders who will represent the school in the coming year.

We express gratitude for the support of all our parents and caregivers throughout the year. Wishing you a rejuvenating school holiday, and we hope that our Grade 5 students have a fantastic final year at RPPS next year!
