Performing Arts

The main focus of Term 4 for Performing Arts was the Arts Extravaganza. Each grade performed their class dance to a massive audience of friends and family. 

Students spent their lessons diligently preparing for this special event, rehearsing choreography, learning about styles of dance and perfecting their spatial awareness. 

Thank you to the families who attended to make our event a huge success, and for being so organised with the requested costume items. 

After the performance, students in all year levels participated in music workshops focusing on rhythm and beats. Students used a range of percussion instruments to explore different rhythms, sounds and genres. Students from grades 4 to 6 also experimented with ukuleles.
