Grade 5 & 6 

This week the Grade 6's have been away on camp! Although we are missing them (kind of) we have been having a great week doing lots of different and fun activities. 

In maths, we have been doing lots of multiplication games like Bingo, The Floor is Lava and Connect 4 so that we can get really good at all of our times tables. 

We did an Escape Room Challenge. Miss Roll gave us 4 challenges to solve with a partner. We then had to put all the clues together to see if we could crack the code. Can you solve one of the challenges?

We did a Kahoot Quiz that was all about us! We had to answer questions to see who knew the Grade 5's the best. Can you guess who:

• Was born in Scotland?
• Has a Weimaraner dog?
• Is an uncle?
• Lived in Abu Dhabi?
• Likes chicken nuggets?

We have also been working in teams to create Mad Lib skits. First we were given 30 random words and a scenario. We then had to write a script about our scenario that included all of the random words. We have been practising our skits and will get to perform them on Friday!

On Wednesday we had the Cinderella Alpha Show. We also had Simultaneous Storytime. Harper O and Henry T did an amazing job reading the story over the loud speaker for everyone to listen to. 

This  afternoon we have Winter Sport. We get to play netball or football.

We are excited for the Grade 6's to be back on Friday. We can't wait to hear all about their Melbourne adventures!
