Primary Netball

This season the College is represented by three teams in the JSSATIS Primary Netball competition, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Gold and Year 5/6 Navy.  It’s great to see some students trying netball for the first time, and combining well with the more experienced players.

After the first game, Stuart Thickett, Manager of the Year 3/4 team said:

“The girls did a great job and certainly got the hang of the rules and positioning quickly as the game went on.”

The Year 5/6 teams played each other at Mount Carmel for their first game of the season.  This was a good practice run, and gave players the opportunity to learn or refresh on the rules, before playing against other schools.

Thank you to secondary students Camilla Joyes, Lina Mahmoud, Bronte Crane,  Sammy Lowe and Sophie Ikin for taking on coaching roles with these teams.  We wish the teams all the best for the rest of the season.
