YEAR 7

Let’s get ready to RUMBLLLLLLLLE!!!!!!

Using a Sphero robot as the engine, Year 7 STEAM students built their own “Battle Bots” to compete against one another in gladiator-like challenges.

It was a Last Robot Standing tournament as each Battle Bot attempted to topple their opponent over in the battle arena. Using the design of their “armour”, and the programming of optimal movements like rolling and spinning, each team attempted to dislodge their opponents’ shell and tip them over, without losing their own! We began with 1 v 1 elimination rounds, then it was an all-in war with ALL our Battle Bots in the arena at once. A great competition, and some great designs! Well done STEAM Battle Teams!
