Fun in the Oral Language Centre

As part of our Literacy program, students in Prep-2 visit the Oral Language Centre for one hour each week. The focus of the play based program is to increase the student's vocabulary and extend their speaking and listening skills. Students choose an activity station they would like to play at or explore. 

At the end of the session students share their learning with the group. Strong, well developed oral language skills are the key to future success with reading and writing.

It definitely looks like 1/2C had a wonderful time in the Oral Language Centre this week judging on the smiles on the students' faces!
