Guided by SCS theme we have created our school theme "Be Kind". At St Aidan’s we remember that kindness grows deeper when grounded in faith. Together in 2026, we will continue to build a place where compassion, trust, and peace shape who we are and who we become, by always being kind.

GOAL SETTING MEETINGS

Thank you to all of our parents for taking the time to meet with our teachers over the past week. These goal setting conversations are such an important part of our partnership, helping us work together to support the growth of the whole child. Your insights, commitment, and collaboration have played a key role in setting our students up for a successful and fulfilling year of learning.

OPENING SCHOOL LEADERSHIP MASS

We welcome our St Aidan's community to join us at our Opening School Leadership Mass next Friday 20th February at 9.10am in the Holy Family Church. At this Mass we will be lead by Father Allan officially opening our school year. Our new Year 6 School Leadership Team will be presented with their badges. They will then say their leadership pledge showing their commitment to leading St Aidan’s in 2026.

OPEN DAY - 3rd MARCH

We have our Open Day on Tuesday 3rd March 9-10am & 4-5.30pm. We are continuing to advertise this day in our local community. You will see advertisements at our local Shopping Centres, Pre-school Centres and at the front of our school. Next week will be sending home flyers, as we have done in the past, to our families. We kindly ask that you distribute these into letterboxes in your street. Please spread the word about our amazing school to the broader community. We are looking forward to many new visitors coming to our Open Day.

SAFER INTERNET DAY

On Tuesday St Aidan's students started the year strong with a focus on online safety. The staff and students discussed how we can make online spaces safer and more positive for everyone. The students enjoyed wearing a touch of blue to promote 'Safer Internet Day'.
