Meet our new Prep Students!

The new Preps students have started their art journey by learning about portraits in Art. Their very first art project for this term has been a self portrait using oil pastels. Fabulous work, I really enjoy seeing everyone’s unique styles!

Meet the Artists at LEPS!

Our first project in Art this year for everyone is to create a mini representation of themselves as an artist for a collaborative display in the main office. We talked about making a self portrait, avatar, cartoon version or even an abstract representation of self for our display. Students were encouraged to use a modality of their choice -such as graphite pencils, markers, watercolour paints, coloured pencils and fine liners. It has been amazing to see all these incredible mini artworks emerge! The display should be finished in the next week or so - keep a look out!
