A Look at Our First couple of Weeks in Prep / Grade 1

We have had a wonderful start to the school year in Prep and Grade 1. The first few weeks have focused on helping children feel secure, happy, and confident as they settle into school life. During this time, we have been getting to know one another, practising classroom routines, and building new friendships.

Through engaging activities such as play, stories, songs, and hands-on learning, students have begun developing important skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and social interaction. These experiences support both learning and confidence as children adjust to their new classroom environment.

It has been a joy to watch the children settle in with curiosity and enthusiasm, giving their best each day. We are very proud of the way they are learning to follow routines, cooperate with others, take turns, and embrace new experiences. We look forward to a happy and successful year of learning together.
