Dear Families
Our recent Father's Day Mass was a truly special occasion, filled with gratitude, and a strong sense of community. It was wonderful to see so many families gathered together, celebrating the fathers and father figures who play such an important role in our lives. We thank everyone who made the effort to attend and contribute to the spirit of the day.
As we approach the holidays, it's fair to say the term has brought its share of challenges. Illness has swept through many classrooms, affecting both students and staff. We know how tough it's been for families juggling work, health, and school commitments. With the break ahead, we hope everyone finds time to rest, recover, and soak up some sunshine, ready to return refreshed and reenergised for the final term of the year.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work of Melanie Condon, who has stepped into the role of Acting Deputy Head of Campus this term. Mel has been leading teaching, learning and the daily operations of the school with professionalism and care. Her contribution has been deeply appreciated by staff, students, and families alike. We look forward to Mel continuing in the role next term.
I am pleased to share that Peter White, driver of the green bus has been appointed to role of bus coordinator. He will continue to drive the green bus but also look after the scheduling, maintenance and general operations of our school bus service. More details of Peter’s role and contact details will be provided next term. Congratulations Peter!
Wishing everyone a safe and restful holiday break.
Kind regards
Cathy Sires
