Hello Foundation Families!
This week we explored the text Wombat Stew for English. We did lots of retelling of the story through using our bodies, verbally, cut and pasting and then even retold the story using Indigenous Symbols. We became very confident in using adjectives to describe the characters and different nouns we came across in the story, such as a 'boiling' pot or a 'sneaky' dingo.
We also begun to conclude our Guided Inquiry unit by creating our dioramas. Students chose a location we had visited in the term and worked with their buddy to create a landscape diorama. We are looking forward to having families in next week on Tuesday the 16th from 3:15 to check out our creations in our showcase.
Kind Regards,
Tegan, Emma and Ash

Hats! As it is now spring and the UV is on the rise, please make sure students have clearly named hats for next week.
