SUP LEADERS NEWS

Hello everyone, we are the SUP leaders and we are super excited to tell you that we are working on some RUOK day activities for the school! This years SUP leaders are:

Mila, Frida, Tilly, Grace. C, Xavier. D, Luca, Evie, Miles, Will, Edie, Rachel, Mel, Leo, and Xavier. T, from Year 5 and…

Eloise, Cassius, Jacob, Eva, Izzy, April, Sammy, Winston, Max, Jayden, and Sophie from Year 6.

As we said at our assembly speech on Friday, it’s soon RUOK Day, which is celebrated on the 12th of September on a FRIDAY at APS. We would appreciate it if your children could wear yellow clothes or some accessories, the more the better!

Are You OK Day is to inspire people to have meaningful conversations with people around them and check in with their friends and family. Sometimes it's hard to know if someone is having a hard time. This is to try and prevent people from having negative feelings towards themselves, and to make people feel safe and wanted.

Throughout the day, there will be some activities happening in the school for the students and EVEN teachers.

Hope to see you there! :)

House Event

The Term 3 house event will be on Thursday 18th of September.

Students can wear their House Colours.

We will be working in our house groups to create a mural that represents each house. We will be using the house logos for inspiration and we will have a scavenger hunt around the school to find natural materials to use.

The focus for the event is collaboration and creativity.

Kind regards,

House Captains
