Student Attendance

The Importance of School Attendance:
Attending school every day is one of the most important factors in a child’s learning and wellbeing. Missing just one day a fortnight adds up to 20 days a year—the same as a full month of learning lost. Over the course of their schooling, this can mean falling significantly behind in both academic progress and friendships.
Of course, children should stay home when they are unwell to rest and recover, but where possible, being at school every other day is vital. Regular attendance helps children stay connected, build strong routines, and get the most out of their education. Every day counts!
