Each week we celebrate our School Wide Ways of Primary of Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be a Learner and Be a Blessing.
Throughout this term, we’ve been focusing on what it truly means to Be Respectful and Be Responsible. During our Monday assemblies, students have been engaged in meaningful conversations about how these values can be lived out—not just at school, but also at home and in the wider community.
In recent weeks, our spotlight has been on Being Responsible. We’ve explored two powerful “I will” statements:
I will keep my commitments.
I will not make excuses.
These affirmations help students take ownership of their actions and understand the importance of reliability and accountability. We encourage families to continue these conversations at home—ask your child what these statements mean to them and how they’re putting them into practice.
Each Friday, our assembly becomes a celebration of character as we recognise students who have demonstrated the School Wide Ways throughout the week. It’s a joyful time of encouragement and affirmation, and a reminder that every student has the potential to lead by example.
Let’s keep cheering on our students as they grow into respectful, responsible, and kind members of our school and community.
Students in Year 5 and Year 6 will be given the opportunity to participate in a table tennis competition at lunchtime on Thursday 11th September. Mr Harvey has visited the Year 5/6 classrooms with the details. The winner and runner up from both girls and boys will be invited to PSTTC's Primary School Tournament on Saturday the 25th of October in Port Sorell.

Our Wetland Warriors would love your help! If you have some good, used gumboots stashed away that no longer fit your children (and have no holes!) we would love to hear from you!
Our Warriors are in need of some gumboots of suitable sizing for 7-9 year old children.
Please drop any donations to the front office. Thank you from the Wetland Warriors team.
