Junior School News

Foundation (Prep-Year 2)
Prep A had a wonderful term 3! We have loved our excursions and our inquiry studies. This term we learnt about the different activities we can do during the day and at night. In Numeracy we learnt how to make groups and share objects. Our Independent Learning sessions explored identifying our emotions. In Phonics we continued our Little Learners Love Literacy program. Our Writing sessions saw us diving into our ‘Weather in Our World’ inquiry through science experiments, language experiments, dress ups and Colourful Semantics. We loved our Late Night camp experience in Week 7. We will also began our excursion experiences this term through a Community Walk.
Well done Prep A!
Lower Primary (Years 3-4)
Lower Primary had an exciting final few weeks of Term 3, wrapping up their inquiry unit with enthusiasm and curiosity. To celebrate their learning, students participated in a special DOME incursion, where they explored immersive experiences that brought their inquiry topics to life.
We’ll finish off the week in true spirit by wearing our footy colours, celebrating our achievements at assembly and in the classroom, and took part in R U OK? Day activities in the courtyard. Students were also encouraged to wear yellow in support of mental health awareness, helping to spread kindness, connection, and care throughout our school.
What a meaningful and memorable way to end the term!
